Siddharth was just 1 and a ½ then.One afternoon, when everyone in the house was sleeping,they suddenly heard the sound of the Dandia beat being played in the adjacent room at short intervals.What they saw was truly amazing!It was little Siddhu who had groped his way into his father’s music room and playing the beat happily on the Dhol which Nagi had kept out for drying (Nagi is also a professional drum manufacturer).

Nagi was thrilled and sensing his keen interest, immediately got down to make a special drum kit to suit his size.This drumkit was taken to Thiruverkadu temple during the Chitra Pournami festival (16/04/2000) to be placed before the deity.Siddhu was just asked to just play something he liked and to everyone’s amazement the little lad ended up giving a spellbinding 12-minute solo performance leaving everyone open-mouthed.This performance took Siddharth into the LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS for the first time as INDIA’S YOUNGEST DRUMMER’03,04 &05.
