Siddharth’s initiation was done by none other than the world famous percussionist Shri.Sivamani in  Mumbai (01/09/00). His initiation was after his first performance!!

He then started learning from Mr.Gopal in Chennai and then started going to Malaysia once a year to learn from Mr.Lewis Pragasam.He idolises Mike Portnoy and is also very influenced by Eric Singer,Jamie Borden,Steve Smith and Neil Peart.He learns the Kunnakol from Shri Uma Shankar (son of the great Ghatam maestro Shri Vikku Vinayakaram) and sometimes from the maestro himself.The family shifted to Hyderabad in 2007,where his dad Nagi decided to start a drum school “Nagi’s ART OF DRUMMING.”Even now Siddhu comes once a month to Chennai exclusively to learn from his Guru.
